Noelle Wilhite

Training Camp Coordinator

Noelle’s love for the river began in 2017, when her good friend and long-time Colorado Whitewater member, Jodi Lee, invited her on a San Juan River trip. Instantly captivated by the sense of exploration, community, and thrill of paddling, she knew she had found something special. After a few seasons of dabbling, Noelle committed to fully immersing herself in whitewater kayaking in 2021, deepening her connection with rivers and the paddling community.

In 2022, Noelle joined the board of the Colorado Whitewater Association as the Western Slope Coordinator, organizing cruises and river weekends in the Roaring Fork Valley. Her passion for the sport continued to grow, and in 2024, she took the lead as the coordinator of the association's annual Training Camp, helping others discover their own love of paddling.

Noelle is drawn to technical and continuous runs, with favorites including Toothache, Slaughterhouse, and anything on the Roaring Fork River, Numbers, Fractions, Foxton, and the Taylor River. Her dedication to paddling and her enthusiasm for the whitewater community continue to inspire her contributions to conservation and education through the Colorado Whitewater Association.
