Kayaking Classes & Open Pool Sessions  

Colorado Whitewater encourages everyone to choose safety over adventure by finding a group to provide instruction, never boating alone, taking a safety class, and staying within your experience and comfort zone.  If you are unfamiliar with a river and its levels refer to AW, Riverbrain, or a local guidebook. 

Colorado Whitewater offers a variety of kayaking classes for beginners, intermediate, women only, and even kids.

Our classes are taught by volunteer instructors, who are certified by the American Canoe Association (ACA). ACA-certification is the national standard for professional kayak instructors. We charge a fee for each class, which is used to pay for expenses such as class costs, instructor certification fees, and liability insurance.
