CRUISES:
There is plenty of beginner-level water in the vicinity, including the Pumphouse run which starts at the campsite boat ramp. More confident boaters are encouraged to volunteer to lead and/or sweep. This is a great change to get your sweeping or leading feet wet! Other boating opportunities include the Lower Blue and Glenwood Canyon (although the latter is, admittedly, a bit of a drive). We will be meeting at 9:30am each morning to organize paddle groups.
GROUP POTLUCK DINNER
on Saturday Evening: By now you know the drill, and you just KNOW that your fellow boaters will be hungry after a day on the river. Here's our chance to put together a spontaneous, unplanned, yet well-balanced, delicious and nutritious feast that will be remembered during the long dark nights of coming winter. Remember to bring serving utensils, and your own plate and eating accessories. Trash bags will be provided. Anyone with a raft table/roller table, please throw it in your gear if we need it. Don't forget your camp chairs!!!
Come one, come all, and help us round off the summer boating season in style!
