Registration

BaileyFest 2019- is BACK ON!

Come join us Friday, September 6 through Sunday, September 8 for Bailey Fest 2019!

As usual, we will have the tunnel turned on, a private riverside campground / put in, a takeout party at the shelter at Pine Valley Ranch Park, and tons of fun. Paddling options include Bailey (IV/V), Foxton (III/IV), Waterton (III/IV) and Deckers (II).

CAMPING FRIDAY & SATURDAY NIGHTS

Camping will be at the Berger property where it has been in years past. You can show up any time Friday onward. To get to the campsite from Denver, take a left on Wellington Lake Rd. once you get to Bailey. Go 3.4 miles and look for the drive on the left marked with a kayak paddle. Per the landowner's request, please leave dogs at home. Anyone showing up to the campsite with a dog will be turned away (NO EXCEPTIONS).

BAILEY TAKEOUT PARTY

The takeout party will be at Pine Valley Ranch Open Space from 3-5 PM on Saturday, September 7. We are supplying the flows, the camp, and the takeout shelter, and YOU are supplying the party! Takeout party is a pot luck, so bring enough beers and snacks for you (and to share) and we will have a great takeout party.

COST

Camping is $20 per person for the weekend. Due to some last minute planning, we are taking a Bailey Fest Unplugged approach this year. No T-shirts, no stickers, no raffles, no sponsors… just our own huge end of season party.

KAYAKING

Paddling options include Bailey (IV/V), Foxton (III/IV), Waterton (III/IV) and Deckers (II). Find a group and go paddle!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We need volunteers to make this event a success. Please contact Ian Foley at ianfoleyiii@hotmail.com if you are interested in helping out. We mainly need volunteers for Saturday morning to help at the entrance.

LASTLY...

The Bailey Beater Bootie Beer Battle, one of whitewater’s most challenging shore based events, will be at the takeout party. Clean your shoes, kids!

Chrispy will play a solo set at the campground Saturday night. Give the man some tips for the tunes!

We are cleaning all the wood out of Bailey this weekend and Bailey Fest should we wood free at friendly flows. The campground will be exclusively on river right this year where the bandstand is.

Again, NO DOGS ALLOWED. The landowner has been fantastic to us, but this is his one rule and we have to stick by it or risk losing this amazing spot in future years.
