Stroke Clinic is a class to assist you with perfecting the details of efficient strokes. Paddling with smart, efficient blade placement and utilizing your core can save energy and precious time on the river. Knowing where your boat should be is only of value if you can get there. This course will give you the skills and techniques to help you with an efficient forward power stroke, correcting sculling draws, powerful sweeps and cross bow plants for quick turning or eddy acquirement - with the possibility of more strokes depending on current skill levels.

This class is suitable for someone who has already learned the basics of kayaking.

Prerequisites: Level A skills/coursework. Participants should have their own equipment (boat, paddle, spray skirt, helmet, PFD, etc.).

Cost:  $40 course fee plus $10 pool admission for each pool session.

Instructors: Patti Miller, Laurie Maciag, and Elizabeth Austen.

Refunds:
If some unforeseen major event happens to prevent you from attending after you have registered, you may request a refund by contacting the Instructions Director.  If cancelled 7 days before the first day of the event, the refund amount will be the cost of the event less processing fees.
