Hi! I’ve been making a mockery of whitewater boating for 20 years. I started as an OC1 and raft guide on the New and the Gauley in West Virginia and the Nenana in Alaska. Then I moved to C1 and K1 on the Potomac--my home river. I became obsessed with the Upper Yough and swam on runs up and down the East Coast including a long surf in Ashville. My wife and I moved to Colorado in 2006 and never looked back. I love to screw up every kind of paddling on the river. SUP, raft, shredder, canoe, kayak, river surfing, neckid riverboarding, whatever.

The ACA has let me get certified as a Level 4 instructor for many years now. They clearly have never seen me paddle. Ha! SYOTR.
